An Independent Medical Examination is an examination that can be done in person or on a video conference. An Independent Medical Opinion is the examiner’s assessment based on the medical evidence and decides whether your condition is linked to your active duty military service. Robin will discuss many popular questions that he receives about these examines and opinions, including what the exam includes and how to prepare.
