Suppose you’re a Veteran and you claim disabilities from the VA and have been granted service connection for a disability. In that case, you will eventually receive a rating decision letter or an award letter. The new Appeals Modernization Act has provided a new, improved rating decision letter. The decision letter will tell you precisely the medical evidence you need to develop when that claim was denied to win it on appeal.
