Episode Description

➡️In today’s episode, Robin will discuss Reserve and National Gaurd service members and if they are eligible for VA disability benefits. The 38CFR states Veterans are eligible for compensation if a disability occurred on active duty military service, so when do Reserve and Guard members qualify for benefits? Active duty members are on the clock 24/7 and 365 days a year, whereas Reserve and Gaurd are on standby and only actively training one weekend a month or two weekends a year. The VA treats these Veterans differently. However, Reserve and Guard members can be eligible for VA compensation in some cases.

Tune in to hear Robin discuss how Gaurd and Reserve service members may be eligible for VA compensation.
