Evan served 12 years of active duty as a lawyer. He witnessed many mental health trials and was able to obtain valuable information on the psychology of Veterans who have developed mental health issues through active duty service. This sparked his interest in practicing Veterans benefits law. Evan then completed his doctoral dissertation about mental health claims to fully understand the VA claims’ process.
